An advanced celebration of the 104th feast death anniversary of St. Candida was celebrated in El Salvador city, Misamis Oriental last August 6, 2016. Some 100 children, youth and women were present to witness and shared deeply the life of Mo. Foundress.
In February 25, 1981,Pope John Paul II, in his visit to Hiroshima, made a strong appeal that PEACE become a reality in the world. As response, the Bishops Conference of Japan declared that from August 6, the day the “Atomic Bomb” fell in Hiroshima, to August 15, when war ended in the country, the entire church of Japan dedicate activities for PEACE.
