Halo-Halloween

1.Halo

"AND I WILL RAISE HIM UP ON THE LAST DAY." (John 6: 37-40)

All Souls' Day

You are a soul!
God, at the Last Judgment, will justify our acts and sanctify all souls.
Commemorating all the faithful departed is celebrating life in Jesus who is "the way, the truth and the life."
The acronym RIP we read in the cemeteries do not only mean
Rest In Peace but also:
R-esurrection
I-s
P-ossible.

In Jesus, we have peace and we receive new life in the resurrection.
"I will raise him up on the last day."

All Souls' Day is not "feeding and exciting our fear" but feeding and exciting our faith." It is not just "horror" but "honor" that we pray for all the faithful departed souls.

Praying "Rest In Peace" carries also our hope that they:
R-ejoice
I-n
P-aradise!

It is also precisely what it means to say "Halloween," because we strive through God's grace to receive "Halo"  on our heads by works of charity.
God, through His ultimate love for SOULS, saves!

"Christ died for us; and we have become just, through his blood" (Rom.5:5-11).

May God bless your soul!
