PREPARE THE WAY...

1. beprepared

"PREPARE THE WAY OF THE LORD, MAKE STRAIGHT HIS PATHS." (Mt.3:1-12)

In the Old Testament, when a certain king visits part of his kingdom, he sends messengers to prepare his way.

The messengers make ready, safe, secure and clear the way of the king.

John the Baptist, the messenger of the coming great King of Israel, Jesus, the Messiah, prepared His way.

John the Baptist, who lived a life prayer in the desert, preached about repentance. He lived a life of simplicity and humility .

To prepare is to repair, that is, to repair our broken relationship with God and people.

The difference between Satan and us is: Satan has one sin; but we, too many. However, Satan did not repent, but we do.

To repent is "to turn away from sin and dedicate oneself to the amendment of one's life."

Advent is a time where we PREPARE for Christmas.

A blessed preparation to you!
