"MARY SET OUT IN THOSE DAYS AND TRAVELLED TO THE HILL COUNTRY IN HASTE TO A TOWN OF JUDAH, WHERE SHE ENTERED THE HOUSE OF ZECHARIAH AND GREETED ELIZABETH." (Lk.1:39-45)
Our Lady of Guadalupe

What is your prayer for Christmas?

Be blessed and be joyful, like Mary and Elizabeth.

We continue to trust and to hope in the power of God at work in us in a mysterious way. Mary and Elizabeth put their trust in their extraordinary pregnancies. They were hopeful that God's promises would be fulfilled.

We serve sincerely without delay. Mary visited Elizabeth, who was pregnant and in her old age, and served her.

We open the door of our hearts to God and to others. Elizabeth opened the door of her home upon Mary's visit and Jesus in her womb.

We spend time with God. Elizabeth spent time with God through Mary who stayed in her home and in her heart.

Mary's prayer and Elizabeth's prayer were answered by God. In the Visitation, they received affirmation and confirmation that indeed they were blessed.

Mary, the Our Lady of GUADALUPE, pray for us!
