Last December 16, 2019, thirty-nine (39) tricycle drivers belonging to the Banawe TODA took time out from their work and gathered at Manresa Retreat House for a half-day Advent Recollection.

This yearly event is an advent offering of Manresa Retreat House as spiritual aid for these tricycle drivers in preparation for the birth of the Lord. This year, Fr. J.C., a religious priest belonging to the Congregation of Disciples of Hope, was their facilitator.

After a two-hour prayer and talk, they celebrated the Eucharist. This was followed by a sumptuous lunch.

The drivers went home happy and with grateful hearts to their Facilitator, and to the sisters who gave them this opportunity to have an experience of God,, a worthy preparation for Christmas.
