After Christmas Sale!

"FROM THAT TIME ON, JESUS BEGAN TO PREACH AND SAY, 'REPENT, FOR THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS AT HAND.'" (Mt.4:12-17,23-25)

"After Christmas Sale!" a sign from a mall advertisement.

But does Christmas end? No!

Christmas continues.

Those who advanced Christmas might find a difficulty of Jesus' birth as "pre-mature." Believers of the child Jesus must grow and mature in faith.

Those who made late Christmas might also find a problem. Like in a labor of giving birth to a child, either an induced or a "caesarean" procedure  might have been done.

"Ceasar," meaning a powerful ruler (like King Herod), had a competition with the newly borne king by being greedy for power. On the part of John, he even had him arrested and imprisoned.

At the arrest of John the Baptist, Jesus continued the mission he started with the message, "Repent, for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand." But Jesus did not only continue, instead He fulfilled the mission.

In prison, John might have been thinking about fulfilling his mission. But God had his own way.

How to celebrate Christmas might have been a question to those who have not found yet their "manger."

To those who had, the greater question to ask is, "How to keep up and continue the spirit of Christmas?"

For commerce's sake, yes, there is "After Christmas Sale."

For charity's sake, if we already have found it's spirit "Sell Christmas After!"

Blessed are those who continue to live the true Christmas spirit. For there might only be a few who continue ("konti n'yo"). Be COUNTED!
