The Lord Has Visited His People at BF Homes

The Resurrection of Our Lord Parish, BF Homes, Parañaque City, organized a Eucharistic Procession to the different enclaves under its jurisdiction, last Saturday, October 31, 2020, eve of the Solemnity of All Saints.

This is a part of the celebration of All Saints and All Souls’ Day, an indispensable aspect of our Filipino Catholic practice and tradition, which the community would not be able to experience because of the current pandemic situation.

The procession started after the 6:15am Mass from the Church with the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and ended at the Church with the Benediction and the 6:30pm anticipated Mass.

Catholic parishioners from the different homeowners’ association were requested to set up an altar- small table covered by a white cloth, with candles and images of Jesus, Mary and all their statues and images of their saints, within their front yards. They will be contained only to the confine of their respective front yards as a safety measure.

Manresa School was one of the designated places to put an altar. The Sisters and some neighbors were around the altar as the procession, led by Fr. Robert Banias, together with some ministers and assistants, in vehicles, with village guards on motorcycles, passed by Manresa. The Blessed Sacrament was hoisted on top of the car and everyone present bowed down and offered homage. Afterwards, the priest blessed the altars and the people with holy water.
