A DAY OF THANKSGIVING AND HOPE

September 8, the birthday of our Blessed Mother....a day that brought rains and floods to many areas...but also a day that brought sunshine and rainbows in the hearts of our sisters in the Province.

It was indeed a day of thanksgiving for having passed through the weeks of sickness, uncertainty; weeks of prayer, and trust. In the common virtual evening prayer of this most blessed day, the sisters of the Indico-Pacific Province gathered for an hour, to pray, to thank, to share, and to marvel at the goodness and mercy of a Loving Father. The covid crisis we had in the Manresa Compound was over; all are well or are recovering. In the prayer, we remembered the mutual help and support, the bond of union, the care, and the concern of our two doctor friends – Dr. Rosario Aceron and Dr. Joseph Ayo. Throughout this experience, with its lights and shadows, ups and downs, it was shown to us once again that prayer uplifts, prayer unites, God sends His messengers and He never abandons. Blessed be God.
