Luke 15:1-3; 11-32

"SO THE FATHER DIVIDED THE PROPERTY BETWEEN THEM."

They say ,"While God gives and gives and forgives, man gets, gets and forgets."

The father in the parable divides his property for his two sons. Indeed, he is generous.

The younger son gets his share but forgets to take care of the property and lost it. The elder son gets all that the father possesses but forgets because he is jealous with his brother.. Inspite of their sins, the father forgives them.

What is wrong with humanity is being forgetful. This they say, "Never trust your memory."

To sharpen our memory, Jesus always reminds us in the Mass, "Do this in memory of me."
