From the Provincial Superior:

To my dear Sisters in the Indico-Pacific,

Remembering you all and keeping you close to my heart

on this great Feastday of ours. May our work find favor in God's eyes,
and may we continue to go about doing good to our fellowmen.
A Happy Feastday to all!
Sr. Thelma, F.I.

From Japan:

Dear Sisters,

Japan IC

Sharing with you this beautiful image of the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION,

that according to the tradition we had received originated from Spain, journeyed with our missionary sisters to China and came to Japan when they had to leave the country. Since then, it has been part of our history here in Japan the past sixty-six years.

As we celebrate the Feastday of the Immaculate Conception and likewise our 146th Foundation Day, we pray,

“May the Blessed Virgin who had a crucial role in the history of salvation continually intercede for the world so much in need of her Son, the Prince of Peace and Fraternity. May she also place our Congregation always under her maternal protection.!”

         Viva Inmaculada Concepcion!

                       Your Sisters in Japan
