RESONANCES on the PAPAL AUDIENCE

It has been a simple meeting that has left all these resonances in us:

It gave me great joy that the “Congregadas” could meet with Francis and have a warm and fraternal encounter with him. He thanked the Congregation for everything we do and for how much we work. He has left us his spirit and his joy....Graciela

The first thing that comes to me is to be able to thank God and the sisters who organized this moment. I have experienced the joy of meeting the Universal Church ... how many different faces, cultures, languages! All a wealth.

Having Pope Francis so close has been a joy, a great emotion. To appreciate his closeness, his good humor, how simple he is and his words of appreciation and encouragement: "Keep doing good".

Committed to continue praying the Our Father as a filial prayer, knowing that it helps us to keep the lamps of faith lit, the meditation of the Word of God and the expression of love in the works of mercy...Marlene

I loved the diversity of languages together. I felt the communion between us and with the others. I was fascinated by normality and humanity of Francis, he reminded me in his meeting with us that fraternity is made of small details that generate enjoyment, joy and communion...Melba

St. Peter’s looked like a party. They greeted each other and we responded as we were, the feast of the universal Church. The closeness of the Pope, his smile, his being among us at ease and relaxed ... a charm. Feelings of gratitude... Teresa

It was an exciting experience of universalism, I resonated with his closeness, simplicity and telling us that he thanked us for what we do. Likewise the reflection on the last invocation of the Our Father "deliver us from evil": it is not enough to ask God not to allow us to fall into temptation, but we must be freed from an evil that tries to devour us, and Christian prayer is aware of this the reality that surrounds us and puts this plea to God at the center ...

Jesus also lived it before beginning his passion, he prayed to God to turn that cup away from him, but he put his will in the hands of his Father. In that obedience he experienced not only loneliness, but contempt and cruelty; not only death, but a death on a cross. However, Jesus gives us an example of how this evil is overcome, he asked Peter to sheath the sword, he assured the repentant thief of paradise and he begged the Father for forgiveness for those who condemned him. From that forgiveness that overcomes evil, our hope is born. What a message this suggests for our life! I ask the Father to give us the same attitudes of Jesus to overcome evil by forgiveness and love. Thank you... Pola

The Church is plural and universal. The Vatican was flooded with color and flavor with the meeting of the Pope with the Hijas de Jesus. In the meeting he showed us his sympathy, closeness and good humor... Rosa

The morning of this Wednesday was significant in two moments. The small journey that we made as a group of Hijas de Jesus, from the metro to the Plaza de San Pedro in the middle of a crowd of people, coming from different parts of the world. To walk feeling ourselves joined by so many people, that like us, were going to see the Pope. And then, the meeting with the Pope. His joy and simplicity filled me with consolation. Through the person of Francis, I felt that the Good Shepherd walked in the middle of his people....Dayse
