Troubleshooter

"IN THE WORLD YOU WILL HAVE TROUBLE, BUT TAKE COURAGE, I HAVE CONQUERED THE WORLD." (Jn.16:29-33)

Troubleshooter

1 : a skilled worker employed to locate trouble and make repairs in machinery and technical equipment
2 : an expert in resolving diplomatic or political disputes : a mediator of disputes that are at an impasse
3 : a person skilled at solving or anticipating problems or difficulties

Like a "troubleshooter," Jesus will give the disciples the Holy Spirit.

He knows that they will get into trouble later on. They will have to face problems especially in their missionary journey.

While traveling the interior of the country (Corinth) down to Ephesus, Paul meets the disciples baptized with the baptism of John. He prepares them for baptism through the Holy Spirit (Acts 19:1-8). Surely, it takes a lot of courage convincing them to receive the this baptism knowing that they already received John's baptism. It requires grace and guts for Paul to speak about Jesus.

Troubles come in different forms and faces. They come in different circumstances and situations. Sometimes, they make people helpless.

Whatever it is that troubles us, we always have our "troubleshooter," the Holy Spirit.

Like the believers, the recipients of Paul's preaching, our FAITH in Jesus saves us from troubles.

Take COURAGE!
