3-in-1

"EVERYTHING THAT THE FATHER HAS IS MINE; FOR THIS REASON I TOLD YOU THAT HE WILL TAKE FROM WHAT IS MINE AND DECLARE IT TO YOU." (Jn.16:12-15) Solemnity of the Trinity

Simple, not a complicated life is what God desires for us.

The three persons in one God is not actually complicated but simple.

It is, as they say, like a 3-in-1 coffee. There are three ingredients: coffee, creamer & sugar. When you drink, you say, "I will drink coffee." You will not say, "I will drink sugar, creamer and coffee."

But unlike any 3-in-1 coffee, the Trinity is all natural - One God!

God does not want to complicate things for us but simple.

To live simply is to live the traces and traits we find in the Trinity as community, truth and love.

Community simplifies things. Living selfishly and on our own creates complication. Truth simplifies things while hiding it creates complication. Love simplifies things and without it is complication.

The Trinity brings grace of a better life through a simple and not a complicated life. Pope Francis said, "Simple is BETTER."

Live a better life. Have coffee sometimes, but make it simple.

They say, "Dati ang kape napaka-simple. Kapeng barako lang ay 'OK' na. Ngayon, napaka-kumplikado; may cappucino, frappucino, mocha, etc. Mabuti pa ang Diyos - simple! Simple ngunit gumigising sa antok nating kaluluwa. Kung papaanong walang matigas na tinapay sa mainit na kape, ay wala ring matigas na puso sa mainit na pagmamahal at pagpapatawad ng Diyos Ama!"

Happy Fathers' Day!
