The motto of our 19th General Congregation is: “With Him, pathway of hope”.

This motto is inspired by an expression from our Constitutions (CFI 318): “He is Christ, our Lord and God.” This reference reminds us that the Congregation is not sustained by human efforts, but by the strength that comes from Christ.

Thus, it is in Him that we put our hope and together with Him we embark this journey of preparation. This motto places us in the ecclesial context of the Jubilee, inviting us to be “Pilgrims of Hope”.

As Pope Francis states in Evangelii Gaudium (EG 178), “The Holy Spirit possesses infinite creativity.” As we walk this path with Him, we become bold and creative in the Lord listening and discerning His voice. Together, we will build a path of hope, a hope that is grounded in Jesus, and not in our own strength or capabilities.

We hope GC XIX be a time of:

• With Him, pathway of listening.
• With Him, pathway to participation.
• With Him, pathway of communion.
• With Him, pathway of creativity.
• With Him, pathway of hope.

The motto and logo of the 19th General Congregation reflect our desire to walk with Christ towards our identity, to be today’s presence which the Holy Spirit awakens in us. Let us allow Jesus to enkindle our creativity and with it, to transform us into bearers of hope for a world that is in great need of more reasons to hope.
