A home filled with faces of a family

It is with great joy that we share that the Sister delegates representing the Provinces: Andean America, Brazil-Caribbean, Asia Oriental, Spain-Italy and Indico Pacific have already arrived in Rome. Together with the sisters of the General Government they are preparing to begin an important time of discernment and prayer.

The Curia has been filled with familiar faces and with different languages which remind us that we are a religious family extended throughout the world. In every corner there is a special atmosphere which can only be described as a “family”.

The Spiritual Exercises: Preparing the Heart

The General Congregation is preceded by an eight-day Ignatian retreat (EE) from April 11 to 19. The Spiritual Exercises have already started and is directed by Fr. Francisco José Ruiz SJ.

This Ignatian retreat constitutes a fundamental interior preparation for the journey that will take place during the General Congregation. It is a time to dispose oneself to listen attentively to the Spirit and to open one's heart to what God desires from the Hijas de Jesus at this moment in history.

The Family of Mother Candida

As the Sister delegates enter into this time of the Spiritual Exercises and as the Church begins the time of the Holy Week, we invite all those who feel part of the Family of Mother Candida to intensify their prayers for the blessings of this grace-filled moment.
