Day 56 - Holy Thursday : Living For Others

Day 56 - Holy Thursday. Jesus washed the feet of His disciples.

Tonight, the shadows begin to fall as Jesus gathers with His disciples for one final meal—a moment charged with love, sorrow, and surrender. Holy Thursday invites us into the Upper Room, where divinity kneels before humanity, and the Teacher becomes the Servant. In this sacred space, Jesus breaks bread and washes feet, showing us that greatness is not found in power but in humility. The Eucharist is not only a gift; it is a call—a call to love until it hurts, to serve without counting the cost, and to give not just what we have, but who we are.

Here, on the threshold of His Passion, Jesus lets go of self—of status, safety, and comfort—and shows us what it truly means to live for others.

Are we open to serving and loving in ways we never expected?
