Keeping Her Spirit Alive: Remembering Mother Candida, and Marking a Turnover Ceremony

Yesterday, at 9:30 AM, the community gathered at VG Chapel in Manresa Compound for a simple yet beautiful Mass celebrated by Fr. Arden Dacuma, OP, in commemoration of the 113th Death Anniversary of our beloved Mother Foundress. Sisters from across Metro Manila, together with friends, neighbors, and guests, filled the chapel in a spirit of gratitude, remembering her life and mission.

After Communion, a meaningful turnover ceremony took place, marking the transition between old and new leadership with symbolic gestures of trust, unity, and shared mission.

The celebration continued with a warm, familial lunch, where laughter and conversation flowed freely. The afternoon featured joyful presentations of songs, engaging games, and symbolic rituals, reflecting the deep sense of family and community that Mother Foundress inspired.
