With hearts full of gratitude and joy, we celebrated the Blessing of our Chapel last December 3, 2025, the feast of St. Francis Xavier. presided over by His Excellency, Most Rev. Elias Ayuban, Jr., CM, DD, Bishop of the Diocese of Cuba, who incidentally celebrated his First Episcopal Ordination on the same day.

This sacred event marked the dedication of a physical place of prayer, as well as the renewal of our community’s commitment to deepen our relationship with God. The chapel now stands as a holy space where silence speaks, hearts are lifted, and faith is strengthened through prayer and the sacraments, especially for those who will make their retreats and recollections here.

The Holy Mass and Rite of Blessing were made even more meaningful through the presence of our bishop, the concelebrating priests, benefactors, the Kalakbay Ministry group, workers, neighbors, staff, and friends, as well as sisters from other houses in Metro Manila.

Sr. Leoly Quitorio, the Provincial Superior, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all who worked tirelessly behind the scenes—from the planning and preparations to the smallest details that made the celebration truly grace-filled. She offered special thanks to the workers and their families, the engineers and their families, and, most especially, to Sr. Celeste Santos Parilla, PDDM, for the beautiful design that made the chapel truly worthy of God’s house.

May this newly blessed chapel truly be a dwelling place of God among us, a sanctuary of peace, a refuge of hope, and a wellspring of grace for all who enter.
