154th Anniversary of the Foundation of the Hijas de Jesus during the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception
DEC 08
On December 8, 2025, our community joyfully celebrated the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception with a Holy Mass presided over by Fr. Alson Santos from the Diocese of Cubao. It was a deeply prayerful and meaningful celebration that drew our hearts closer to Mary and to her Son.
Made even more meaningful by its celebration at the newly renovated MRH Chapel, we gathered with grateful hearts to celebrate three profound graces woven into one sacred moment: the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, the special place of Mary in the life of the Church and in our Congregation, and the 154th Anniversary of the Foundation of the Hijas de Jesus.
The liturgy was beautifully enriched by the singing of “Dios Es Mi Padre” and “Clara Estrella,” whose melodies lifted our prayers with tenderness and faith. The whole celebration was simple yet moving, marked by reverence, gratitude, and quiet joy.
After the Mass, everyone shared a warm and simple agape, made even more special by the presence of friends from other centers. It was a joyful moment of fellowship, sharing not only food but also stories, laughter, and renewed bonds.
Indeed, it was a celebration that touched the heart—a true reminder of God’s grace, Mary’s gentle presence, and the beauty of our shared faith.
In this Jubilee of Hope, we contemplate Mary Immaculate, preserved from all sin as a loving preparation by God for her unique mission as the Mother of the Savior. From the very beginning of her life, Mary was fashioned by grace to become the dwelling place of the Word made flesh. In her “yes,” our hope was born.
Guided by our determination as outlined in the GCXIX, we renew our commitment to live with deeper faith, bold hope, and generous love, responding to the needs of our time with creativity, compassion, and missionary zeal.
And today, we return to the words that gave life to our identity and mission:
“I wish to be called the Hijas de Jesus.”
These words continue to shape who we are, women formed by the Heart of Jesus, prepared by grace, like Mary, to say yes to God’s saving work in our world.
As we celebrate our history, we also embrace our future with trust, walking together in hope, under the loving gaze of Mary Immaculate, and sustained by the grace of God who calls us anew each day.
