MANRESA SCHOOL CELEBRATES FAMILY DAYS AFTER THE PANDEMIC

Manresa School opens its doors to parents, alumni, visitors, and guests for the Family Day celebration after three years of pandemic. It can be recalled that the Manresa School Family Day celebration in March 2020 ended with an unprecedented announcement of lockdown all over the country and the whole world because of the deadly coronavirus. Amidst the challenges of the pandemic, Manresa School stood firm and withstand the test of time.

  

This year’s Family Day theme is anchored on the Hijas de Jesus theme “Family of Mo. Candida: Growing in Faith and Journeying towards Hope”. Panahon na para Magsama-sama…Kita kits sa Manresa! is a very timely and relevant theme because it aims to gather everyone again in order to reconnect, celebrate and enjoy the gift Manresa School educative community with gratitude, renewed faith, and hope in God.   

The two-day celebration on April 29-30, 2023 includes fun-filled activities for preschoolers, grade school and high school students, faculty and staff, parents, and alumni. The outdoor and indoor games, family games, bands, and activities that honed and showcased homegrown talents were full house and enjoyed by everyone.

The Family Day was graced by the presence of Manresa School alumnus, Rev. Fr. Kevin Joshua Cosme who presided over the Holy Mass on the second day, and DJ Andrei Modoñedo for an afternoon’s entertainment. The celebration culminated with the battle of the bands, Press Hit Play (PHP) and The Band concert.

The Manresa School Parents’ Auxiliary (MSPA) officers and board headed by its president, Mr. & Mrs. Raldie and Monica Rosales spearhead the preparations of the different activities together with some faculty and staff with the collaboration of all sectors of the school community. Kudos to everyone who prepared the activities put the events together and make this year’s family days a success!
