Sr. Graciela Francovig, Superior General met the Provincial Superior, Sr. Emelinda Falsis, and the Local Superiors of the Philippine Region last August 14-15, 2023. Sr. Teresa Pinto, General Counselor was also present. We started reviewing Part IX of the Constitutions and Directress of the Congregation that pertains to the Government. We had a deepening of the qualities, roles, and responsibilities of the local superiors as well as looking at the realities and possibilities of the communities and apostolic presences of the Philippine region. It was a time of fraternal dialogue, sharing concerns as well as giving thanks for the blessings we have received from the Lord.

We thank Sisters Graciela and Teresa for the grace-filled encounter. We felt encouraged and grateful for the life and mission of the Congregation in the Philippine Region.
