This is what people mostly desire, like a perfect plan, exam result, family, work, relationship, face, dress, etc.

Jesus' invitation to be perfect is contextualise in the act of loving.

The old law states, "You shall love your neighbour and hate your enemy." Jesus says, "Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you."

When one does what Jesus says, one inherits sonship of the heavenly Father who is perfect.

This is challenging because pride, greed and the unwillingness to forgive hinder us from loving an enemy.

Perfection is an eternal value.

Jesus also says, "Pray for those who persecute you." It attunes us to the frequency of divine love which is without condition or partiality. God loves the good and the bad.

When anger and hurt arise, PRAY. It helps in making our love become perfect.

Jesus sums up what divine love is: to love a friend and to love an enemy. It is incomplete when we love only our friend. The two make us whole; make us PERFECT.

You are Christ's reflection in perfection!
