October 7 – Feast of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary

The communities in the Manresa compound joyfully celebrated the Feast of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary on October 7. The celebration began with the Holy Mass officiated by Fr. Chuck, OP, gathering the Sisters in prayer and thanksgiving as we honored Mary, the Mother who continually leads us closer to her Son, Jesus.

In the afternoon, the Sisters gathered again at the Inner Garden of Tahanan Cándida María de Jesús to pray the Holy Rosary, where we honored Mary with flowers and lit candles before the image. It was a beautiful and prayerful way to begin this month of October, traditionally dedicated to the Holy Rosary.

Surrounded by the quiet beauty of the garden, the Sisters prayed the mysteries of the Rosary together, entrusting to Mary the needs of the Church, the Congregation, our communities, our families, and especially those who need God’s love and care.

As we begin this month of the Rosary, may Mary, Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary, teach us to treasure prayer, to ponder the life of Jesus in our hearts, and to journey with faith and trust wherever God leads us.
