Getting to Know the Mission and Celebrating Faith in the Local Language

Mother General, together with the sisters, attended the Eucharistic Celebration in Mandi, which is a Garo dialect. The celebration highlighted the importance of language and local culture in expressing and living the Christian faith in this local church.

The visit continued with a tour of St. Cándida Hostel. This particular visit offered an opportunity to become more familiar with one of our ministries – the pastoral care and accompaniment of the girls residing at the hostel.

Then the sisters had individual dialogues with the Mother General.
