A COURTESY CALL TO THE BISHOP OF CUBAO
On the 28th of March, Mother General Maria Inez Furtado, accompanied by the General Counselor Jocelyn Salomo, Sr. Thelma Barbarona, the Provincial, and Sr. Judith Campaniel, the Superior of the Mater Dei-MRH-Manila community, paid a courtesy call to Bishop Honesto Ongtioco, D.D. of the Diocese of Cubao.
The visit was marked by a warm and animated conversation between the Bishop, who speaks excellent Italian, and our Mother General. The sisters also had to visit the beautiful and well-maintained Immaculate Conception Cathedral nearby.
They then took some time to visit Art-In-the-Island, a three-dimensional interactive museum of fifty paintings done by Korean painters as a friendly exchange with the Philippines. Below are some photographs for your viewing pleasure.
