A ONE-DAY ENCOUNTER WITH THE LORD

Fourteen new faculty and staff members of Manresa School were allowed to spend a day in quiet encounter with the Lord on the school premises on April 29–30, 2022.

Amid their many responsibilities and busy schedules, each one generously set aside time for a “mini-vacation with the Lord”—a moment to step away from their usual routine and simply be with Him. For most of them, it was their first experience of a recollection. They came with openness and generosity, allowing the Lord to speak to each of them in a personal and unique way.

The day provided moments for rest, prayer, reflection, and sharing, allowing the participants not only to deepen their relationship with the Lord but also to know one another more closely.

It is hoped that this meaningful encounter will awaken in them a deeper desire to know the Lord more intimately, to make themselves available to Him, to listen to His voice, and to continue nurturing an ever-deepening relationship with Him. May this first encounter become a beginning of a continuing journey of faith and friendship with the Lord.
