The Promulgation of Decrees of the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints, last June 20, 2024, during the audience granted to His Eminence Cardinal Marcello Semeraro, prefect of the Dicastery for the Causes of Saints, the Supreme Pontiff authorized the same Dicastery to promulgate the Decrees regarding the heroic virtues of the Servant of God Vicenta Guilarte Alonso, professed religious sister of the Congregation of the Daughters of Jesus; born on 21 January 1879 in Rojas de Bureba, Spain, and died in Leopoldina, Brazil, on 6 July 1960.
Vicenta Guilarte, with the approval of the decree of heroic virtues, becomes Venerable. May her life, together with that of St. Candida and Blessed Maria Antonia, show us how to be daughters and awaken in every heart that first vocation that impels us to give ourselves to others. For them we give thanks and to them we entrust ourselves.
