Sr. Lynn's Inspires Unity and Renewal in the Indonesia Community

From September 1st to 10th, Putri-Putri Yesus, Indonesia community was graced by Sr. Emelinda C Falsis, (Sr Lynn) our beloved Provincial Superior, who embarked on a canonical visit to Indonesia. This visit was a time of deep reflection, spiritual renewal, and strengthening of our religious community's bonds.

During her stay, Sr Lynn engaged in heartfelt conferences with the sisters focusing on the core aspects of our  Constitutions (CFI). Our reflections centered around our prayer and community life, emphasizing the importance of mutual support, understanding, and love within our community.

Significant emphasis was placed on our vows, particularly the vow of poverty, reminding us of its transformative power in our lives and its role in serving the poor and the marginalized.

The encounter with the aspirants…..Here are some of their impressions…”Her canonical visit gives us enlightenment and encouragement to continue growing in our formation. We are grateful and joyful for her presence. Thank you Sr Lynn for all the support. “--- The aspirants.

The visit reminded us of the unifying force of our shared faith and commitment to the Lord. Sr Lynn’s presence brought a sense of unity and purpose, inspiring us to deepen our commitment to God, to our vows, and to live out our mission with renewed fervor.

She also had the chance to visit the Family of Sr Emerenciana, in Borong, a village nestled three hours from Ruteng, passing by huge mountains and seas. Srs. Mary, Marie, and Judith joined Sr Lynn in sharing that special moment with Sr. Emerenciana’s family. We were welcomed with open arms and overflowing warmth. Sr Emy’s family was overjoyed to see their daughter’s Provincial superior and her community members in Ruteng. Their generosity was evident in their traditional welcome sharing local delicacies and stories of their lives. This visit served as a powerful reminder of the strong bond between our sisters and their families. It was a testament to the love and support of our congregation, reaching into the hearts of those who cherish our sisters, Sr. Lynn’s visit to Borong was a beautiful reminder of the interconnectedness of our lives and the powerful impact of compassion and kindness.

On the same day as Mother Mary’s birthday (September 8), the Community had dinner together at Springhill Restaurant in Ruteng. The aspirants joined us all for dinner and enjoyed the simple food we ordered.

The sisters of Indonesia are eternally grateful for Sr Lynn’s visit. It was a time of grace, growth, and inspiration, leaving us with a renewed sense of purpose and strengthening the bond within our community. We are grateful for her guidance and leadership, and we are eager to continue our journey of faith and service with the love of the Lord, with the Blessed Virgin as our guiding light, and with St Candida, our Mother Foundress as our inspiration.
