Provincial Congregation Members Participate in Inspiring Orientation Session
Sr. Emelinda Falsis, F.I., Provincial Superior, alongside Sr. Leoly Quitorio, Provincial Council Member, recently organized an enlightening orientation for the members of the Provincial Congregation, held over two weekends in September. The Metro Manila delegates gathered on September 14-15, 2024, in the Memorabilia Room of Manresa Retreat House, Quezon City, while the Panay-Guimaras and Cebu-Mindanao delegates convened on September 21-22 in the Rosarillo Conference Room at Sacred Heart School-F.I. in Cebu City.
The orientation focused on preparing participants for their roles within the Congregation, emphasizing the significance of understanding the rules and procedures that govern this gathering. Throughout both sessions, participants engaged in thoughtful discussions and activities to deepen their knowledge of the Provincial Congregation's guidelines and their importance.
Sisters Emelinda and Leoly led the sessions, providing ample time for reflection on the rules and procedures. Creative and engaging prayers and interactive discussions made the sessions both meaningful and informative. Participants had the opportunity to share insights, ask questions for clarification, and explore strategies for getting to know and understand these rules and procedures.
Delegates expressed their gratitude to Sisters Emelinda and Leoly, as well as the Provincial government, for organizing these orientation sessions. The gatherings were instrumental in preparing them for the upcoming XIX General Congregation, a significant event for all Hijas de Jesus. As Mother Candida would say, “Blessed be God in everything!”
