Today The Hijas de Jesus Congregation marked the 14th anniversary of the  Canonization of St. Candida Ma de Jesus, Foundress of the Congregation. A special Eucharistic Celebration was celebrated by Fr Fian, the Headmaster of St Klaus School, Kuwu, and joined by the Hijas de Jesus Community of Ruteng, Indonesia, and the students from the SMA  (Senior High School ) According to Fr Fian, this mass is his first time in English in his life as a priest. The Eucharist is a reminder of the enduring legacy of St. Candida and the continued growth of the Hijas de Jesus communities in the world.

Sr Emerenciana, gave a short introduction in Bahasa Indonesia, on the significance of St. Candida’s Canonization Anniversary. The celebration also highlighted the profound impact, St Candida’s life and teachings have had on the congregation and beyond. Her unwavering dedication to education, social justice, and spiritual growth continues to inspire countless individuals.  Our celebration served as a powerful testament to her enduring legacy and the ongoing mission of the Hijas de Jesus to carry forward her vision of service and compassion. “ We hope that remembering this day will serve to renew our desire to live only for God,  and the courage to place our trust in Him alone’’
