Christmas Day Celebration: A Day of Joy, Reflection, and Preparation

The Christmas Day celebration at the Manresa Compound was marked by a solemn and joyous Holy Mass presided over by Fr. Arden, OP. The Sisters gathered the chapel with prayer and heartfelt thanksgiving for the gift of the Savior.

Following the Mass, the Congregadas seized the moment for a reunion, posing in batches for group photos before the Holy Family at the altar. This time of picture-taking was filled with laughter, camaraderie, and a sense of joyful reconnection—a fitting way to celebrate the spirit of Christmas.

At lunch break, the sisters in the whole compound gathered for a happy Christmas lunch together, continuing the joyous spirit of the night before. It was also a special moment for awarding prizes to those who had won in the previous night’s games, adding excitement and delight to the gathering.

After the lively gathering, the day moved into a period of quiet reflection as the sisters prepared their hearts and minds for the next significant phase of the Provincial Congregation: the selection of Electors.

The day concluded with a solemn and prayerful Vespers, to end the meaningful Christmas celebration. It was truly a day of spiritual nourishment, joyful reunion, and reflective preparation for the last leg of the journey.
