The Hijas de Jesus sisters continue to prepare for the 19th General Congregation. We are living in a time of grace and discernment.

We have already come a long way in the preparation for the 19th GC.

And we are in the final stage before its celebration.

If we look back, we recall with awe the call to welcome the invitation of the Lord - to be pioneers, hopeful again.

In the communities, we walked together with those at Emmaus.

It was a special time of spiritual conversation.

We listened a lot and considerably listened to each other.

We let ourselves be affected by the challenges of humanity,

the Church, the religious life and the Congregation.

We prayed to the Lord to enlighten our vulnerability to transform us. In this experience, we listened to the desires and calls that God has been touching our hearts.

And we discovered at this historic moment of grace what postulates were emerging to conserve and grow as a Congregation in its well-being...We want to be new wineskins, Sowers and pilgrims of hope.

We travelled the path of the Provincial Congregations who treated with care and discernment all the postulates that came to them.

They chose the sisters who would participate in the General Congregation. In this final stage, we prepare for a key moment – the 19th General Congregation.
