Sr. Graciela and her companions arrived at Manresa Residence last April 17, 2023, at almost 9:00  pm. Upon arrival, they were warmly welcomed by the sisters, with joyful hugs and exchange of personal greetings...

Then they were led to the Prayer room for a silent prayer of praise and thanksgiving, which was concluded with a short song to Mary. Then, they were brought straight to their respective rooms for a much-needed rest. 

The next day, April 18, started with a genial conversation over a hearty breakfast. The atmosphere was joyful, with everyone looking eagerly for the visit. The first on the agenda of the day was the welcome of the whole educative community at the School's Old Gym. It was a great crowd of students, Faculty, and staff, awaiting them, and greeting them with the waving of flaglets of the three countries comprising the Indico-Pacific Province.

Then, returning to the residence, the individual conference of Mother General with the sisters followed. After the short program prepared by the school, the sisters went to Mass at the Sacred Heart Parish. The visit to the sisters of Manresa Residence concluded at mid-morning the next day, April 19, 2023.

During breakfast, Sr. Cecille Sequio, the “encargada” of the house presented Sr. Graciela and Sr. Teresa with a bag of goodies and sweets, and words of gratitude and appreciation for their presence. The visit took one and a half days, though it seemed long but very pleasant, for having Mother General, Sr. Graciela, General Counselor, Sr. Teresa, and the Provincial Superior, Sr. Emelinda is something to be treasured about as their presence had brought joy, fraternity, and love, and had strengthened the bond of unity, zeal and animation among the sisters.
