On August 30-31, 2025,  the sisters of the Cebu-Mindanao community gathered at Sacred Heart School in Cebu City for the Transmission of the 19th General Congregation. Sr. Ma. Leoly Quitorio, F.I., the new Provincial Superior of Indico-Pacific province, facilitated it together with Sr. Felisa Molina, F.I., the Local Superior of the community, who was also a participant in the GC.

The two-day encounter was a memorable experience for all the sisters present, as this was the first community encounter with the new set of members. Additionally, they received the sacred Determination of the GC 19, which will guide their life and mission for the next sexennial. 

The sisters were given time for study, reflection, prayer, and sharing on the different parts of the document. “The sessions were lively and dynamic, with the sisters actively sharing their reflections and questions on the Determination. A family spirit was felt during the spontaneous and light moments.”

The encounter was also graced with the presence of Fr. Don Hormillosa Besana, OAR, who presided over the Sunday mass. The program ended with a prayer of commitment from each house to live out the Determination.”
