TCMJ Community Holds Transmission of GC XIX Determinations

The community of TCMJ gathered on September 8, 2025, at their community chapel for the transmission of the General Congregation XIX Determinations. Sr. Leoly Quitorio, the new Provincial, and Sr. Thelma, both delegates to the GC in Rome, facilitated the session.

The gathering began with a video prayer, Wake the World, followed by a sharing of reflections inspired by the song. The two delegates then gave an illuminating presentation on the Determinations, helping the sisters appreciate the spirit and significance of the document.

This was followed by a communal reading of the Determination, beginning with the Introduction. After each portion, the participants were invited to share their impressions, insights, or questions. Although they were able to read only the first three numbers of the Introduction, the depth and richness of the sharing made the time especially fruitful.

The session lasted the whole morning, as the sisters had also joined the previous day’s assembly with the Metro Manila community. Despite the limited time, the TCMJ community expressed gratitude for the opportunity to deepen their understanding together and to be renewed in their mission as Hijas de Jesús.
