FI NYA 2026- Nations Youth Assembles as One Bridge

Divided by distance but one at heart, the delegates of the National Youth Assembly (NYA) just started to make some noise and break some walls as they entered the second day of their journey. From a cozy morning of listening to heartwarming stories as students encounter soul-searching vocations of reflection to breaking down social barriers and showcasing raw talent, ending the day with fulfilled and enthusiastic hearts.

The day kicked off with an eye-opening session titled “Usap Tayo: Discovering Your Vibe, Living God’s Call.” The assembly featured a panel representing four distinct paths: Religious Sisterhood, Priesthood, Single Blessedness, and Married Life. This talk highlighted the beauty of the journey— no matter how different the path, each requires struggle and sacrifices. Furthermore, the students had a quick Q&A session as delegates didn't hold back with genuine curiosity, poking into every aspect of their lives: from the struggles of their chosen paths to the complexities of love lives and the grit required for an enduring spiritual journey.

The momentum continued into the afternoon with the talk titled: “Cultivating Peace, Inspiring Hope Towards a More Humane Society.” This session challenged delegates to be open and to broaden their minds as part of a society built and entrusted to change and for the future. Thus, learning to embrace "organic interaction” as they break walls that divide us. As lessons are to turn into action, there was an activity in which delegates were tasked with finding peers from different schools. The room transformed into a lively interconnection of strangers becoming friends, proving that peace begins with a single connection.

As the day drew to a close, the students’ energy transformed the assembly into a concert arena, with performances showcasing their vocal talent, instrumental prowess, and dance skills—a true celebration of youth and community spirit.

While the singing remained in full swing, the Agape began nearby in commemoration of the Last Supper with Jesus, allowing students to share the food that they brought to other fellow students, creating a sense of belongingness and solidarity.

As the day ended with a bang, followed by a meaningful silence, the delegates gathered for an Examen. This reflective practice allowed everyone to revisit the day’s experiences, recognize the presence of God with every activity, and reflect on the different choices they made throughout the day. The reflection led the day from fun to a more meaningful moment. For everything that happened today, we must not forget Him. All these would not be possible without God.
