Day 2: Prayer, Reflection, and Sharing on the Exercise of Government, etc.
The second day of the gathering was facilitated by Sr. Victoria Lim, F.I. The morning began with the Shibashi prayer, introduced by Sr. Edhen Mae Paranga, F.I., followed by the proclamation of the Gospel of the day. The prayer concluded with the song “I Am Blessed, Grateful and Thankful.” In celebration of All Saints’ Day, the sisters also received simple tokens as a gesture of remembrance and joy.

The session continued with Sr. Ma. Leoly Quitorio, F.I., who reviewed and updated the participants on Determinations Nos. 27–40 of the document Dispositions and Practical Orientations on the Exercise of Government. She explained that this document is generally intended for local superiors but chose to share its contents with all the participants, especially for the benefit of the younger sisters. The presentation provided an opportunity for everyone to deepen their understanding of the responsibilities and spirit of congregational governance. A question-and-answer forum followed, allowing the sisters to raise concerns, clarify points, and share their insights.
The afternoon session focused on the documents concerning the Congregation’s economic administration. With substantial input from the Provincial Treasurer, the discussions provided the sisters with a clearer understanding of the guidelines and practical aspects of administering community resources. Numerous questions were raised and clarifications sought, making the session both enriching and interactive. The sisters actively participated throughout this intensive session, demonstrating their interest and commitment to responsible stewardship of the Congregation’s resources.

An Evening of Fun, Joy, and Fraternal Bonding
The day ended on a joyful note with an evening of recreation prepared and led by the young sisters. The participants enjoyed a lively night filled with fun games, dancing, and exciting prizes and gifts. Laughter and cheerful moments filled the evening as the sisters came together, setting aside their daily responsibilities to simply enjoy one another’s company. It was a wonderful opportunity to strengthen the bonds of fraternity, nurture it and celebrate the joy of being together as one family.
