General Consultor, Sr. Joy Salomo, Visits CHJ

Before the canonical visit of the Mo. General of the Hijas de Jesús Congregation, Sr. Joy Salomo, the Consultor General, visited CHJ on February 21, 2017. The whole educative community warmly welcomed Sr. Joy. She greeted the students in different languages and also asked volunteer students what they thought needed school improvement.

After the warm wishes, Sr. Joy was given a chance to watch the field performances of the Grade 7 “Sinulog”, a festival of Cebu City, and Grade 8’s “Masskara”, a festival of Bacolod City.

The General Consultor also talked with the faculty and staff and asked about the main concerns of the students at present. The teachers had a buzz session in small groups and gave their responses afterward.

Sr. Joy is visiting the F.I. schools in Panay and Guimaras in preparation for the coming of Maria Inez Furtado, F.I., the Mother General, on March 2.
