𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 (CMSP )

“𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐬: 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐖𝐢𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐖𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝”

This was the theme during the 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 ( CMSP ) held at 𝐙𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 last 𝟏 𝐭𝐨 𝟓 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. Sr. Ma. Leoly M. Quitorio, F.I, and Sr. Remedios Cabrera, F.I., were among the 233 consecrated women and men representing 159 religious congregations who attended the said convention.

The 5-day convention followed the framework of MULAT • DAMA • TINDIG • PAGHAYO. The Meaning: MULAT to the present realities and the cry of the people and mother nature; DAMA, feeling and in solidarity with those who are suffering and vulnerable; TINDIG, making a stand and becoming a prophetic voice and presence for justice, peace and reconciliation; PAGHAYO, making concrete acts in favor of those marginalized.

There were a series of conferences on National Political and Church Situation, Healing the Wounds of the Earth, The Challenges to Charism and Governance in the Modern World, The Situation of Elderly Consecrated Persons in the Philippines, Walking Together in Mission: Challenges and Opportunities on Mutual Relations and Continuing Challenges in Creating Safe Communities of Dignity.

The 4th day was spent on a Pilgrimage of Peace: Encountering Ministries of Dialogue, Justice, and Reconciliation and Zamboanga City Heritage Tour: A Journey through Culture, Faith, and Peace.

The final day concluded with the Office Final Statement of CMSP, followed by the closing program and Eucharistic Celebration.
