Hijas CICNIANS Student Leaders and Faculty’s Tree Planting Activity at Bulabog Puti-an National Park

September 26, 2026 DINGLE, ILOILO —

Living out our mission as active stewards of God’s creation during this Season of Creation, the student leaders and faculty of Colegio de la Inmaculada Concepcion, Inc. (CIC) joined together for a meaningful Tree Planting Activity held at the serene Bulabog Puti-an National Park in Moroboro, Dingle, Iloilo.

The environmental initiative was spearheaded by the Student Pupil Coordinating Council (SPCC). Joining the student government were representatives, classroom presidents, vice presidents, and members of various school organizations and clubs. Club Moderators and other school personnel joined in this endeavor.

Guided by the famous wisdom that “the best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago, and the second best time is now,” the Hijas CICNIANS chose to take immediate action for the environment. Hands in the soil and hearts united, the participants worked collaboratively to plant native tree seedlings, leaving a green legacy within the protected national park.

Through this initiative, the student leaders proved that youth and leadership could work together in caring for the earth. “Every tree planted is proof that young people have the power to shape a better, greener future,” shared the event organizers. “We may be students, but our impact can last a lifetime.”

The success of this tree-planting event marks another milestone for Colegio de la Inmaculada Concepcion, Inc. as its Hijas CICNIANS continue to lead with purpose, faith, and action for Mother Earth.
