Day 4: The "Congregadas" Leap for Joy

DEC 21

Day 4: The

A spirit of joy, and gratitude marked the fourth day of the assembly. The sisters from Japan opened the day with a heartwarming video presentation, sharing glimpses of their life and mission. Their stories of dedication and service resonated deeply with the assembly, offering inspiration and a sense of oneness within the congregation.

As a thoughtful gesture, the Japan sisters delighted everyone with small tokens of affection—a sweet treat and an adorable ballpen. These simple yet heartfelt gifts brought wide smiles and even moments of light-hearted excitement, as the sisters truly "leaped for joy" in gratitude and camaraderie, words inspired by the Gospel of the day and delightfully related in the homily by the Presiding priest in this morning’s Mass.

The day was also dedicated to serious group work, continued study, and reflection on their assigned blocks of postulates.  Thoughtful discussions, prayerful discernment, and shared insights enriched their ongoing work.

Despite the serious nature of the day's tasks, moments of fun, laughter, and sisterly bonding were seamlessly inserted into the rhythm of the day. The halls and surroundings were filled with a joyful spirit, reflecting the “congregadas” ’ experience of working and walking together.
