Day 5: A Day of Deep Study, Reflection, and Reformulation
Today, the “congregadas” had an intense rhythm of study, reflection, sharing, and reformulation of Postulates as participants immersed themselves in group and individual sessions.
Before the prayer, and later the session proper, there was a short video presentation on the life and mission of the Sisters in Bangladesh, a thoughtful sharing that showed the richness and challenges of the mission there. In a light-hearted moment, the phrase "ballpen – matador, the great lifeline" captured the essential role of the humble pen, a favorite gift from Bangladesh, as a tool for fine writing and documentation.
As the day progressed, morning turned towards late afternoon with cycles of study, reflection, and sharing—each phase growing in a deeper understanding of what each is doing with the materials. While no assembly was held in the afternoon, the communal spirit remained animated, especially at meal times.
As the day concluded, the groups that finished their work had a sense of fulfillment, knowing that "all is well that ends well,” because the Spirit is alive in each one. All await tomorrow’s surprises with joyful anticipation, much like the expectant spirit of Advent as Christmas draws near.
