Day 6: A Day of Thanksgiving, Fellowship, and Reflection

Day 6 of the Provincial Congregation was filled with gratitude and celebration. The day opened and closed with prayers centered on Thanksgiving, expressing the participants' heartfelt gratitude to God for the abundant graces received since Day 1.

At the hall, the atmosphere was filled with joy and a sense of accomplishment as the bulk of the task of the “congregadas” was completed by early afternoon. During their free time, the participants read and reflect on the minutes of previous sessions for their approval. There were also moments of sharing of experiences and insights among the participants.

As evening approached, the participants chose different ways to unwind and celebrate. Some groups went out to enjoy the dazzling Christmas lights at MOA (Mall of Asia) and UST (University of Santo Tomas), immersing themselves in the festive atmosphere. Others opted for a cozy after-dinner drink at a nearby coffee house, sharing stories over warm and cold beverages. Meanwhile, a few chose to stay home, finding rest and quiet time after the busy days of study, reflection, and spiritual conversations.

Day 6 was truly a day of thanksgiving—a beautiful blend of prayer, harmonious teamwork, joyful collaboration, and moments of lighthearted fellowship. The participants returned to their spaces with renewed enthusiasm, gratitude, and joy, ready for the final stretch of the gathering.
