NYA 2026, Day 4 and Closing
JAN 31
The fourth day of the National Youth Assembly (NYA) began with a meaningful Morning Praise led by St. Joseph School – Hijas de Jesus, Inc. The atmosphere was filled with solemnity and reverence as delegates gathered to center their thoughts and reflect on God’s love and grace experienced throughout the assembly. The prayer concluded with a graceful dance that celebrated the youth as Pilgrims of Hope and bearers of light, setting a reflective and uplifting tone for the day.
After breakfast, the delegates attended the “Discovering the Treasure Within” talk, a session focused on recognizing and unwrapping hidden talents. Two inspiring speakers shared their personal journeys toward achieving their current paths, reminding the youth that success is not only about reaching one’s dreams but also about making a meaningful impact on others. The session ignited excitement and passion among the students, encouraging them to pursue careers rooted in purpose and service to their brothers and sisters.
Following the talk, the delegates participated in various workshops designed to bring out their talents and passions. Assigned to different groups, the students collaborated by gathering ideas, strategizing, and planning together to create outputs they could proudly share with fellow delegates. Each participant was allowed to express ideas, contributing to well-thought-out outputs that reflected teamwork, creativity, and dedication.
In the afternoon, the delegates came together for the Festival of Talents, where they showcased the results of their workshops. Each group presented unique and creative outputs that highlighted their identity and collective experience at the NYA. The festival was filled with joy, celebration, and a strong sense of unity as the delegates appreciated one another’s talents and efforts.
As the day progressed, the delegates engaged in a sharing session, reflecting on the talents and skills they had uncovered. This moment allowed them to recognize, understand, and nurture the gifts God has given them. The reflection was marked by gratitude, reverence, and personal insight, helping shape their character and deepen their appreciation of God’s grace.
To commemorate the NYA, the delegates gathered for a Eucharistic Celebration, offering thanksgiving to God for the opportunity to come together as one youth community. The Mass was a sacred and spiritually enriching moment, reminding everyone that the NYA was not only a celebration of talents but also a journey of personal growth and faith. Delegates, ministers, and sisters united in hope and gratitude for the success of the National Youth Assembly.
The day concluded with the Closing Ceremonies, a heartfelt moment of gratitude and farewell. The ministry team expressed their sincere thanks to everyone who made the NYA possible. Emotions filled the venue as Sr. Leoly Quitori, F.I. shared her message on hope and how it shaped the entire NYA experience. The program ended on a joyful note as delegates danced together, celebrating the bonds they had formed. As they finally said their tearful goodbyes, the delegates carried with them the friendship, lessons, and hope forged throughout the National Youth Assembly.
