From September 1 to October 4, 2026, the Hijas de Jesús Community and the girls of St. Candida Hostel joyfully entered the sacred journey of the Season of Creation. This grace-filled celebration invites us to an ecological conversion—a call to quiet our minds and hearts, listen to the heartbeat of our common home, and renew our covenant with the Creator and all of creation.

Throughout this sacred season, the community embraces a path of prayer, contemplation, and concrete ecological action. It is a privileged time to realign our lives with God, recognizing Him not only as our Savior but also as the loving Father whose breath gives life to every creature and sustains the whole universe.

Inspired by this year’s celebration, we are challenged to open our eyes to the cries of the Earth and the cries of the poor, to repent of our indifference toward the environment, and to become faithful stewards who foster reconciliation with one another and with our common home.

As a meaningful expression of this commitment, the girls of St. Candida Hostel lovingly created a Sacred Place in each dormitory—a simple space for prayer and contemplation that nurtures gratitude, reverence for creation, and a deeper awareness of God’s loving presence in everyday life.
