Caring for Creation-a Looking Back…

Looking back on October 23, 2025, when we visited the Maasin Watershed and Dam in Barangay Daja, I remember simply being there, surrounded by water, trees, and the people I shared the moment with. But looking at these photos now, I realize how easy it is to enjoy what nature gives us without thinking about what it takes to keep it alive.

The water we stood in is more than just part of the place. It gives life. And that makes me feel even more grateful for it. The tree we planted may have been small, but it meant something to me. We planted it without knowing how far it would grow or who might benefit from it someday.

Maybe caring for creation is about doing small things today, even when we may not see the result. May the water keep flowing, the trees keep growing, and may we learn to care for what gives us life.
