VISIT OF SR. MARIA INEZ TO THE COMMUNITY OF TAHANAN CANDIDA MARIA DE JESUS

The visit of Sr. Maria Inez to the sisters of TCMJ from March 20-24, 2017 was indeed God’s passing in our lives. The first three days were spent in personal dialogue with her, and then we had the community encounter on the morning of March 24.

She strongly reminded us to continually find our daily lives as places of encounter with God, where we can say a grateful and patient “yes” to life and welcome it with hope and perseverance. She also encouraged us to make an effort to get out of our solitude and problems, out of our resistances and obstacles, to be happy in the heart. This, she attested, is our apostolic work and we have to help each other to make this a reality.

We are eternally grateful for this canonical visit of Maria Inez, her last in this sexennial. We thank her from our hearts for reawakening us to the meaning of our vital role in the Body-Congregation even at the sunset of our lives.
