Visit of Mother General to the Mater Dei-MRH-Manila Community

The visit of Sr. Maria Inez to the Mater Dei-MRH-Manila community last March 26-28, 2017 brings to an end her canonical visit to the Philippines. The communitarian encounter was held in the afternoon of March 28, 2017, at the Memorabilia Hall, site of the photos and relics of Mother Foundress.

It was a great opportunity for the sisters to come together. After the questions had been answered, the PowerPoint presentations made, the pictures taken, we were left animated, inspired, full of hope for the future…encouraged to continue walking and embrace whatever comes our way in our journey towards resembling more the Jesus who is compassionate and poor.

This is the last of Ma. Inez’s canonical visits, and we will surely miss her presence. We are very grateful for the breadth of vision that has given us impetus to continue “walking humbly with our God” into a future that is surely held in His hands.
