Day 3: A Familial Conversation for Shared Discernment
The third day was devoted to a familial conversation on various matters concerning the life of the sisters in their respective communities and the Province as a whole. Through group discussions, the sisters were invited to offer practical suggestions on specific topics related to community life, school administration, and other important matters requiring discernment. These conversations aimed to gather insights and perspectives that could assist the Provincial Government in its discernment and decision-making on various aspects of provincial life.
The discussions continued throughout the afternoon, providing space for open sharing, attentive listening, and the exchange of experiences. Each group then presented the fruits of its reflections and conversations, bringing together valuable insights and suggestions for the good of the Province.
The day concluded with a meaningful prayer, followed by a special Christmas gesture from the Provincial Superior, Sr. Ma. Leoly Quitorio, F.I., who gave each community a Christmas gift: a copy of an encyclical of the Holy Father. This thoughtful gift served as an invitation to further reflection and shared spiritual nourishment within the communities.
