June 29, 2016 – Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul
The 6:30 a.m. celebration at Manresa School on the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul was a memorable and special day for the Hijas de Jesus sisters, particularly for the Parañaque Community. On this blessed occasion, two young women found the courage to respond to Jesus’ call and took a significant step forward in their vocation journey with their firm and generous YES to Him.

The entrance day of Mary Mae Santorce to the Postulancy
The Mass started at 6:30 AM, officiated by Msgr. Manuel Gabriel, the parish priest of the Resurrection of our Lord Parish in Parañaque. The family, friends, and relatives of Sr. Florie May and Postulant Mary Mae, and some teachers and staff of Manresa School joined the celebration. Sr. Florie May Llorando read her vow before Communion under the hands of Sr. Thelma A. Barbarona F.I. while Postulant Mary Mae Santorce read her consecration in front of the Blessed Mother after the Communion Rites. The formula of the vows and the Consecration to the Blessed Virgin Mary were read with deep emotion from the hearts of these two young women.
It was a day that will be treasured in our hearts as we continue our journey with our Loving Father with trust and loving confidence.
